Success is 3 Windows + 1 Linux + 1 macOS Apple Silicon testers completing the short path below, each with a usable var/feedback/ report. Preview is a host app, not a bootable OS. Intel Mac is out. NVIDIA is recommended on Windows and Linux; CPU-only is slower but counts. macOS builds are unsigned — expect Gatekeeper after install.sh.

After the 15-minute path, a skill is another ten minutes: Markdown in var/skills/, MIT, no kernel PR. Copy morning-brief or write ping. Procedure: write a skill. A dual-surface module (agent tools + closed widgets) is the next step, still without cargo: first module. Preview can also install the signed community index: Settings → Local module catalogue → enable Community catalogue → Fetch → Install morning-brief. Cap review is unchanged; a tampered index is refused.
