Akasha OS is not an agent runtime bolted onto a general-purpose OS. The name carries that ambition: a system meant as a foundation, not a guest. The references below are inspirations, not affiliations.

Origin and sovereignty. Origine et souveraineté. In Anne Rice’s The Queen of the Damned, Akasha is the first vampire, source of the others, imperial, near-divine. For an OS, that evokes a foundational system: first of its line, the base on which everything else is built.
